Grounds for Divorce:
Under Hindu Marriage Act (Section 13), common grounds include:
Cruelty
Adultery
Desertion for more than 2 years
Mental disorder
Conversion or renunciation
Mutual consent divorce (Section 13B)
Types of Divorce:
Contested Divorce: Filed by one spouse citing fault.
Mutual Consent Divorce: Filed jointly after one year of separation and mutual agreement.
