Can an "Irrevocable" Power of Attorney Survive the Owner's Death? Supreme Court Clarifies the Law

The Supreme Court has clarified that an "irrevocable" Power of Attorney does not automatically survive the death of the principal unless it is coupled with an interest recognised under Section 202 of the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
